My family and I have built our lives here, we have been proud to call Redcliff home for more than half a Century. We’ve had the privilege of raising our kids in this community. Over the years, we’ve been involved in youth sports, minor hockey, baseball boards, coaching, and serving on the Church board.

I have served three terms on Redcliff Town Council and am now seeking my fourth. With almost 12 years of council experience, I’ve had the opportunity to represent our community on a variety of committees and boards, including the Emergency Advisory Committee (EAC), Medicine Hat and District Chamber of Commerce, Municipal Planning Commission, Redcliff/Cypress Regional Waste Management Authority, Riverview Golf Club (Alternate), Senior Citizens Board, and the Southeast Alberta Watershed Alliance.

As a business owner, we have operated Leipert Plumbing and Heating Ltd. for more than half a Century and previously managed other Redcliff businesses, including Redcliff News and Tobacco, Redcliff Liquor Store, Redcliff Mini Storage, as well as residential and commercial rental properties. I’ve also been involved in developing many properties in Redcliff, contributing to the town’s growth and future.

Through these experiences, I understand the financial responsibility needed to make things work efficiently and cost-effectively. I believe in working hard to ensure our town remains strong, sustainable, and welcoming. Most importantly, I strive to be approachable and accessible to all residents, because strong communication is the key to good community leadership.
